    Derek has an extensive career in film animation and is currently working at WETA Digital. He worked on the game cinematics for Halo 2 at Blur, Alice in Wonderland, The Amazing Spiderman (1 & 2) at Sony Imageworks, and was nominated for an Annie Award for his work on Spiderman. Most recently, he worked on Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming film, The Book of Life. In the near future he will be working on Hotel Transylvania 2 at Sony Imageworks. In addition to his busy schedule, he is also a mentor at Animation Mentor.

    Derek在动画电影行业从业多年，目前在著名的维塔数码工作。他曾参与过不少影视和游戏动画的制作，包括Blur的《Halo 2》、《爱丽丝梦游仙境》、索尼影业的《超凡蜘蛛侠1-2》，并因制作蜘蛛侠而获得过安妮奖。他最近在与大导演吉尔摩·德尔·托罗合作动画新片《生命之书》，此后还将参与制作索尼的大片《精灵旅社2》。当然，在繁忙的工作之余，Derek也在兼职AM导师一职。
